COVID-19

We have all been effected very negatively by the COVID-19 pandemic. As of today, March 19, 2020 these are

the circumstances we are in:

• The Maltese government has directed that all schools are closed and remain closed till April 17, 2020.

• The Maltese government has announced the suspension of inbound commercial flights as of Friday, 20 March

2020 23:59 until further notice.

As such we recommend that all in-house students seriously consider returning home as soon as possible as the

Maltese Government is considering a complete lock down meaning all students will need to stay in the

residence and only go out to shop for essentials. We are not sure how long such a shut down will be for.

At this point, all students can use our ESE e-learning portal whether they say at ESE or return home. This will

be free for the next 3 months. Please email [email protected] if you need assistance.

Below are some questions and answers to guide you as agents, parents and students on our cancellation and

refund policies that reflect the force majeure current scenario leading to the temporary closure of ESE and the

need for the early repatriation of our students who have had to cancel or postpone their programme.

ESE is not in a position to make up for the lost lessons. Whilst ESE is under no obligation to make up for any lessons lost
