Kwantlen Polytechnic University is one of British Columbia’s newest and most innovative undergraduate universities. Located in the vibrant Metro Vancouver region, Kwantlen has over 18,000 students enrolled annually at its campuses in Richmond, Surrey, Cloverdale and Langley. The university offers a comprehensive range of programs including business, liberal arts and science, design, health, trades and technology, horticulture, and academic and career advancement. Most of Kwantlen’s programs have multiple exit points, allowing students the flexibility to graduate with a certificate, diploma or degree.

Kwantlen’s Institute of Transborder Studies contributes to an interdisciplinary network of researchers across several continents. The Institute for Sustainable Community Development brings faculty from a variety of disciplines into partnership with school districts, government agencies, and community groups. The Institute for Sustainable Horticulture boasts an advanced bio-control product development laboratory and a geothermal research greenhouse that supports research in integrated pest management, green energy and climate control systems. Kwantlen’s research capacity, based upon its 30-year history of responding to the needs of the region, creates innovative results which benefit its faculty, students and communities.
